Engineer’s Week started on the 7th March and Ms. Carrick’s class did a range of activities in order to explore, be creative & construct different structures. The class were given different tasks using a range of materials. Everyone enjoyed it & there was great teamwork.
WEDNESDAY
On Wednesday they were given masking tape and ten sheets of paper and the task was to build a high yet sturdy tower that won’t fall over.
FRIDAY
On Friday the children went to a lego workshop and they created a story board and then created the scenes using lego.
BUILDINGS
The 1916 Rising, the GPO and World War 1 were some of the ideas on display. We really enjoyed Engineers Week!
