John Nagle R.I.P., who was deputy principal in the school, was involved with the organising and running of these GAA leagues.
Cumann na mBunscol have introduced a new Cup this year. The cup is to remember John Nagle, the genial, gentle Kerryman from Rathmore, who did so much for GAA.
John’s hobby was collecting old newspapers and match programs. He had a large collection of old newspapers, many of which recorded the magic of Cumann na mBunscol matches played on final days.
What an honour!
We are delighted that John will be remembered in this manner – a very moving, fitting tribute.
