We are entering the Santry Sports competition in June this year.  40 pupils will travel to Santry to compete, running against other schools in Dublin.  We will be entering the relay races.  For each relay there will be four members on each team for the U10, U11, U12 and U14 girls and boys.  We will also be entering the sprint races for both boys and girls in the annual Santry Sports competition.  One person from each of the above groups will be entered into the sprint competition.

  In the past we have won gold medals in both the sprint and relay races.  One year we won the overall cup as well. Good Luck to all our runners!   

This year our school will be entering the sprinting races The age groups are U10, U11, U12 and U14.  Competition day will take place at the start of June and training will commence after the Easter holidays.  In the past St Bernadette’s S.N.S. have won 6 medals and one year we were lucky enough to win the trophy.

Congratulations to Marriam Oluwa who took gold in the 100 metres at the Santry Sports today. Well done to all the participants who performed really well.

Marriam follows in her brother’s footsteps as he also won gold medals at Santry.
