South Dublin Libraries has launched a new literacy support project to provide TTRS (Touch-Type, Read and Spell) licences to local schools. The licences will be provided free of charge to schools for two academic years – 2020/2021 and 2021/2022.
TTRS is an award-winning, multi-sensory touch-typing course based on a structured programme of phonics. The program aims to build literacy skills – reading, writing, spelling, keyboard skills, tying ability, and to increase confidence and self-esteem in users. TTRS is also suitable for users who struggle with physical impairments and specific learning difficulties, like dyslexia.
This is a great opportunity for your child to learn how to touch-type following a structured programme.
You can read more about the programme here:

If you would like your child to be included in the programme, please email office@bernadettes.ie with TTRS in the Subject line and your child’s name, class and teacher included in email.
